Expanding Healthcare Accessibility

BC4U provides confidential, discreet, and convenient healthcare solutions to youth in Colorado, especially beneficial for those who might lack supportive family environments. Originally, BC4U successfully offered completely free medical care for those under 25 in urban Colorado areas. But scaling this to cover rural and underserved communities throughout Colorado presented a new challenge. This required innovative telehealth solutions to effectively extend reach and accessibility.

Designing an Intuitive Healthcare Experience

Addressing these challenges, BC4U collaborated with 303 Software to craft a mobile-first digital solution specifically designed for youth healthcare. The new platform featured:

  • Appointment Scheduling App: Allowing youths to easily book free doctor visits at preferred times and locations.
  • Telehealth Integration: Providing secure video chat consultations, empowering young patients with privacy, control over reminders, and the option to invite a supportive friend—all without the need for sharing sensitive personal data.

Following the successful launch of BC4U's refreshed website and appointment scheduling app, immediate results included fully booked appointments and expanded access across Colorado. Recognizing an ongoing need, BC4U and 303 Software initiated further development for telehealth products accessible to young people who cannot physically visit clinics.
